“America’s Got Talent” and "Piers Morgan Tonight" presenter Piers Morgan,
launches Dreamcatcher Media's Film and TV Camp and praised the company directors for their professionalism.  Piers also thought the camp was a great way to encourage childrens creativity. "There's a lot of raw talent out there. I see it all the time being a judge on both "Britains Got Talent" and its American counterpart but you have to harness

children's creativity if it's to grow. I think Dreamcatcher Media's Film and TV summer camp, where they give children cameras and teach them to make their own films is a fantastic way of doing that. I only wish there was something like that available when I was a kid, sounds like fabulous fun as well".

WHY DO A DREAMCATCHER COURSE?

Would-be film makers can work on a trial and error basis with a camcorder and enjoy modest results. But now young people can achieve amazing results and demonstrate their film making abilities by taking professional classes locally and learning how to do it properly. At Dreamcatcher’s Film & TV camp they can learn every facet of film or programme making - because they are the crew! Each participant will experience being the creative staff of their movies and programmes: Camera crew, props, director, producer, writer, and the on-camera talent (actors or presenters). Taught by experienced professionals and created by the top pros in the industry, the Holiday Film & TV Schools offer the skills and practice needed to create and produce movies documentaries or other programmes with a creative flair.

DREAMCATCHER TUTORS

Dreamcatcher Media was founded by Breda Fahey and David O’Keeffe. Both have worked as TV producers with household names such as Piers Morgan, Sir David Frost, Robert Kilroy-Silk, to name but a few. Breda Fahey is a qualified teacher, a writer and longstanding TV producer. David O’Keeffe is also a highly experienced TV producer and has mentored teenagers in London mentoring projects.

All Dreamcatcher Media’s tutors have worked at the top end of their profession in the worlds of film and TV. For example, our production designer Sloane U'ren has worked on films such as Harry Potter, Batman amongst others.

As film-makers, and TV producers/directors, their careers have depended on their highly developed film and programme making skills.

They are hugely enthusiastic about passing on the skills they’ve acquired to the film and programme makers of tomorrow
.

CHILD SAFETY

The safety of children in our care is very important to us and all tutors are thoroughly vetted by Dreamcatcher Media.
